What’s your favorite piece of furniture or decor that you own?\u003C/strong> \u003C/span>\u003C/h2>\r\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: left;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: opensans-regular;\">My style of my own home is a mix of old and new. I tend to like new upholstered pieces, but then to \u003Cem>\u003Cstrong>mix in an antique\u003C/strong>\u003C/em> side table with it. It truly is all in the mix! \u003C/span>\u003C/p>\r\n\r\n\u003Cblockquote>\r\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: center;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: opensans-regular;\">\u003Cstrong>\"My favorite piece of furniture I own is a Biedermeier chest I found at Scott’s Antique Market that had one leg missing but was exquisite. It was a diamond in the rough—the best part was it was only $150 dollars! It was a major score!\"\u003C/strong>\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\r\n\u003C/blockquote>\r\n\u003Cp style=\"text-align: left;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: opensans-regular;\">My other favorite piece in my house is a chinoiserie chest I found at an estate sale years back. It sits in my dining room and is so special. As you can see \u003Cem>\u003Cstrong>I love the treasure hunt\u003C/strong>\u003C/em> and finding unique pieces that mean something to me!\u003C/span>\u003C/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\u003Chr />\r\n\r\n\u003Ch2 style=\"text-align: center;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: opensans-regular;\">\u003Cstrong>Tell us about a notable project from the past few years.\u003C/strong> \u003C/span>\u003C/h2>\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-family: opensans-regular;\">\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I just finished up a large renovation for a \u003Cem>\u003Cstrong>historic house in New Orleans\u003C/strong>\u003C/em>. We worked for over two years on it and halfway through my clients found out they were expecting a third child. \u003C/span>\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400;\">We had to turn the third story attic into a playroom and nursery right at the end. font-family: opensans-regular;\">Just put yourself out there and \u003Cem>\u003Cstrong>reach out to a designer that you admire\u003C/strong>\u003C/em> and would want to work with. The great thing about today’s world is that your designer doesn't have to be local. Instagram has become such an important tool in this day in age and I am constantly saving beautiful images of spaces I love to a folder on instagram. \u003C/span>\r\n\r\n\u003Cspan style=\"font-weight: 400; font-family: opensans-regular;\">\u003Cem>\u003Cstrong>I also draw inspiration from my travels.\u003C/strong> \u003C/em>Whether it be a trip to South Georgia with my family or on a girls weekend to the North Carolina mountains.
