"The Ann Taylor Style Muses campaign is all about 'spotlighting women across the country with the most empowering careers and enviable style' so that 'their stories remind you to follow your passions and always be your own muse'—this is an ethos I'm not only honored to be included in, but also one that, as a female business owner and lifelong fashion and design lover, truly believe in!"
Tailored Yet Effortless
We shot this campaign with the wonderful Ann Taylor creative team (seriously friends, these shoots truly take a village!) on location at—where else?—the Kathy Kuo Home Design Showroom in Tribeca. I worked with the Ann Taylor style director to choose a look that felt in line with my personal style of tailored-yet-effortless pieces. This dress is the Studio Collection Silk Flutter Midi Dress in Rose Dust. We paired it with a selection of Ann Taylor jewelry pieces (mixed in with my personal jewelry I wear every day) and nude-toned heels.Shop the Look
Simple Yet Striking
Of course, it's always a lot of fun to play model for a day (it takes me back to my own young adult modeling days!), but I also have to note that it was inspiring to watch the Ann Taylor team have some fun shooting AT accessories in the KKH space! They found the best spots to style and shoot shoes, bags, and jewelry in the Showroom in ways that highlight the accessories as well as the interior design elements around them. How chic does that faux leather handbag look nestled with our chocolate velvet pillows?

Empowering & Stylish
Finally, I want to shine a light on my fellow Style Muses—Ann Caruso, and Robin McBride & Andrea McBride John of McBride Sisters Wine Company! As regular Kuotes readers know, connecting with fellow female business leaders is a major passion and joy for me. My favorite thing about working on this Style Muses campaign is the fact that it centers female entrepreneurs from a variety of industries! How fun is it to see all of our different personal styles highlighted and represented in such an empowering way?
